Things to Consider

Preservation orders - these are applied to an individual tree, and work can only be undertaken with the written consent of the relevant local authority planning department.

Conservation orders - these are applied to an area, e.g. a village, and any trees that fall within this will need to have the written consent of the relevant local authority planning department prior to work commencing.

Trees in neighbours gardens - we will need to get in touch with your neighbour, to ensure that they are in agreement, prior to work commencing.

Trees overhanging someone else's property - in the event that we need to gain access to your neighbour's property to enable the safe removal of the tree (and to clear up any debris), we will need to get in touch with them to arrange this.

I would be happy to obtain the relevant consents, or discuss the work with your neighbour, as required.
